At IKEA we don't build the cost of delivery into our prices, so you save money by taking your purchases home yourself. But if you need assistance, we can arrange delivery right to your door by an inexpensive, independent service.

Delivery charge for Hong Kong and outlying islands is as below:

General Terms & Conditions

• Our Delivery Service does not cover land boundary.
• An addition $40 will be charged on items sent from our store for combined delivery with items sent from warehouse. The said purchase amount does not include TOWNGAS products and any of the service charges.
• Our Delivery Service does not apply to breakables, plants & display items sold, and to addresses where goods cannot be delivered via stairs but have to go through the balcony on arrival (except outlying islands), or flats on the 9th floor or above in buildings without elevators.
• Should deliveries be made to a quayside or pier on Hong Kong Island or in Kowloon, the customer shall be responsible for arranging sea transport and loading/ unloading, and paying for any charges thus incurred. Additional purchases, new sales memos & amendments must be made 2 days before the scheduled delivery date.
• With the exception of deliveries to outlying islands, an administration fee of $150 will be charged for delivery order re-scheduling made on the day before the delivery date or due to no one being at home to receive the order. And the re-scheduled delivery date should be at least three days after the re-schedule request.
• All items will be arranged for delivery within a month from date of purchase. If you cannot arrange for your goods to be delivered to you within the said month, IKEA will contact you to arrange for a cancellation of the order or for a refund.
• The deliveries will be suspended under bad weather conditions, such as rain with thunderstorm, or when typhoon signal No.8 is hoisted or a black rainstorm warning is in effect. Delivery appointment will be re-arranged.

# Outlying Islands Delivery Service:

• Outlying Islands refer to Lantau Island (areas accessible by the Tung Chung Road south of Shek Mun Kap Road on Lantau), Lamma Island, Cheung Chau and Peng Chau. Each island is with a designated delivery date.
• Outlying Islands Delivery Service charge covers addresses only within a 50m parameter of the unloading point and of flats not higher than the 3rd floor without elevators. For addresses outside the prescribed scope, surcharge is required as follows (on a per delivery address basis) : (a) $150 for delivery address between 50m and 100m; (b) $200 for delivery address between 100m and 200m; (c) $300 for delivery address for over 200m. Where deliveries have to be made through the balcony, each item of product will be charged $200. For flats on the 4th floor or above, there will be additional delivery charge of $40 for each level up.
• All rescheduling of delivery, additional purchases, new sales memo and amendments must be made 3 days before the scheduled delivery date. Otherwise, a double delivery charge will be incurred.
• Delivery failure due to no one answering the door upon the arrival of goods at the appointed time, or to circumstantial limitations such as the entrance or the balcony being too small, will require a rescheduled delivery and therefore incur double delivery charges.

Assembly Service

IKEA furnishings are flat-packed, with instructions and hardware packed together in the box so you can assemble them yourself. But if you would like your furniture professionally assembled in your home, just ask for our assembly service and the job will be done efficiently and inexpensively. The assembly charge is only 10% of the product price*.

*Please note that this assembly service is strictly limited to IKEA product parts assembly and not applicable to kitchen areas. The maximum charge for this service is $1,200, except Outlying Islands.

Wall-mounting Service

For purchase of select items, the wall-mounting service charge is $100 each item*, or $60 each for 2 items or more.
*Except STOLMEN series, which are counted as per unit.

Terms and Conditions

• Customer must use delivery and assembly service in order to enjoy free wall-mounting service, and under the same delivery and assembly address. Dates and time of delivery, assembly and wall-mounting are to be arranged separately.
• This offer is for selected IKEA products only. Kitchen or bathroom areas are not applicable.
• Products to be wall-mounted MUST be all parts of the specified products purchased. This service does not applicable to partial wall-mounting, marble, metal surface, tile wall or on plaster board.

Disposal of Furniture Service

For purchase of selected items, including sofa / sofa-bed/ bookcase system/ TV bench/ bed frame (excludes SYLLING guest bed)/ SULTAN mattress/ wardrobe / chest of drawers/ dining table / dining chair / work desk / computer table / work chair), customer can enjoy this service at $100 for each item.

Terms and Conditions

• Customer must use delivery service in order to enjoy this service, which is only applicable to one pick-up and delivery under the same address on the same day.
• The type of furniture item to be disposed of should be the same as that of the furniture item purchased as well as freestanding.
• This service does not apply to outlying islands and Macau.
• Furniture to be disposed through balcony or window is not applicable to this service. IKEA accepts no liability for the furniture once they have been disposed.
