How to use

1. Customise your flat layout
	-	Select the appropriate shape of your flat
	-	Fill in the dimensions (length & width) and wall height of your flat
	-	Position the door(s) and window(s)

2. Furnish your flat
	-	Drag and drop the selected furniture to the room plan

3. Visualise your concept
	-	View your design in 3D
	-	Print your design

4. Finalise your shopping list
	-	Automatic calculation showing the total cost of your selected items
	-	Save the file and print your quotation

With the IKEA NEW "Home Planning Tool", create a virtual layout of new home is as easy as pie.

The latest version of IKEA "Home Planning Tool" integrates the furniture of living room, kitchen, dining room and workspace, giving you more feasibility in creating design on the same layout.
Choose the suitable layout and input the floor area, then click-and-drag the preferred furniture to the layout. The "Home Planning Tool" will then present a 3-D visual of your own design right in front of your eyes.
Be your home designer is as easy as 1-2-3.

Remark: If you had installed “Home planning tool”, please uninstall the old version before running the new one.

Instructions for downloading and using

1.	Click on "Download Now" button above to download the installer.
2.	The download file is in Winzip format. Unzip it before installation.
3.	Browse to the installer and double-click to run the programme. No installation is needed.

Note:

You may first be asked to download an additional program called DirectX in order to install this program. You can find this program by clicking on the hyperlink below.

Having problems with your download? Here are some common problems we might be able to help with.

Get an error message when trying to download the setup program:
If you have an early version of Windows you may need to install DirectX. This is a Microsoft program that helps install and run the Home Planning tool. Click the link below to download this program, then run the IKEA Home Planning Tool installation again.
