Before you start to plan your new storage solution, sketching out your working space, taking measurements from the floor to the ceiling and between the walls. Make a note of any window or door that might affect the size of your storage solution, take detailed measurements and make allowments for opening and closing doors. Don’t forget to take into account any pipes, ventilation or other features that could affect your storage solution.

Measure the width of your storage solution and see how many wall upright and mounting rails you would need. Make sure your solution will fit in your chosen location.
