Low formaldehyde content
IKEA strictly controls the formaldehyde content to meet EU standards. The panel is durable, back and bottom were treated with edge sealing to decrease the risk of damp. .
Storage for all children who know best
This pull-out wardrobe is based on a child's perspective. Here they get a full overview and can reach clothes and items from two sides – even smaller children or those busy with more important things.
More than just a changing table!
The flexible storage solution can grow with your child and adapt to their changing storage needs. The changing table easily converts into a desk by lowering the height, and a toddler’s pastel-coloured cabinet can transform into a cool white closet for teens.
Step 1 – Pick the PLATSA frame
First, pick the PLATSA frame depth (40cm or 55cm) of your choice. We recommend 55cm because you will have more storage space. Step 2 – Pick the door type and interiors
Then you may start customizing the inner parts of the wardrobe. Pick the door type/color and how many drawers and shelves you want to include with your frame combination. You can use the SMÅSTAD planner to see more options. Step 3 – Pick the handles and knobs
Next you can pick the handles or knobs to combine with your doors. Step 4 – Choose the organizers to fit your needs
Finally, choose the accessory products to match your wardrobe, such as organizer baskets, hanging organizers, hooks and storage boxes.
Secure it! Safer home together: We recommend you to fix the furniture to the wall with the enclosed safety bracket to prevent it from tipping over if a child climbs or hangs on it.
To be completed with knobs or handles.
