The seat/back and armrests of SJÄLSÖ armchair are slightly lower than the original. We’ve also changed the material of the durable fabric from cotton to a mix of linen/polyester.

When this armchair was launched in our 1990 catalogue, it was called RYD. Then, just as now, with a solid pine frame and a strong natural-coloured fabric in the seat and back.
